Adding to my list of paper artists...

I love Cara Barer's book works, they're so raw. She soaks the books in water to give them a "new shape and purpose". Cara mentions on her website that no important books are damaged during the making of her works, an issue I want to address later this week. While researching some of the artists on this list, I have noticed that many people take great offense to the cutting up of old books. I find this odd... anyway, more on that issue to come.
