Antony Hart - Weather Report, series of 9 accurate rain drawings produced by placing letterpressed clouds, printed in watercolour on fences prior to rain. AGGGGHHHH!!! I LOVE THESE! I want to start doing some more works on paper, intricate drawings, photocopies, etc. However, this weekend is going to be taken over with making Chrsitmas cards and presents (and a little touch of shopping). Ooooooh!!! These are so cool! I saw a piece od work last year that worked along the same lines. It was lots of very thin straight black lines printed onto a large sheet of paper (almost like a barcode) and then left in the rain, the ink splodged and smudged and it was lovely!!
Lovely clear colours; almost makes you want it to rain more.
