A few things...

'Re:' is an AMAZING looking touring exhibition of experimental artists' books.
All books are based on re word(s). For example: release, remote, reject, reassemble etc. I hope I have time to make it. More about the curators another day. OH, also, you can print your own catalogue from the website.

Martin Kippenberger : livres et ephemeras 1977 - 1997
13 September - 25 October

‘Diaries, Journals and Notebooks’
An exhibition of the book works of Steve McPherson

9th October - 7th December

The new Bookarts Newsletter from The University of the West of England is out (it might have been out for a week or two now, I am so behind on my reading). I find that it's an excellent way to keep up to date on all the book arts happenings around the world. Above are a few things that particularly interested me.

Also, if you're going to be in London on Saturday 8th November, try to make it to Handmade and Bound, an affordable book-art and zine fair. It will feature work by a wide variety of artists, designers, writers and musicians.

Have a happy weekend!

It all looks amazingly interesting, but the diaries really peek my interest! Maybe I'm a bit of a snoop- I love reading other people's thoughts on paper!
